Tarik O'Regan b. 1978

Tarik O'Regan studied at Oxford and Cambridge Universities.  He has held Fellowships at Columbia and Harvard Universities and posts at Trinity and Corpus Christi Colleges in Cambridge, at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton and at Yale University.  His orchestral commission Latent Manifest was premiered at the BBC Proms in 2010 and 2011 saw Heart of Darkness, his opera based on Joseph Conrad's novel of the same name, at the Royal Opera House Linbury Theatre and the release of  Acallam na Senórac,his third album on the Harmonia Mundi label.
